Is this the correct transgo kit for a dakota tranny.

I am not near my truck but I have a 5.2L auto 4x4.

Any help mucho appreciated.

I don't think so. I have a 46-RE and (I think) Dodge put a 44-RE in yours. I tried to find it but I couldn't.
The 46-RE was avalible for the 360 block D&G only. No promisses though.

 

You happen to know a way to identify the tranny? Its not listed in the glove box card and I don't have the original documentation as I just bought this truck. Maybe I could have the dealership look it up by VIN.
