193,000 on my Regular cab V6 5 speed. Runs great, although I do need to clean/change the air filter and it is probably time for a tune up.

Default Lots of Miles

I have 364,528 on my odo as of this morning. One owner, used as a satellite install work truck, but still going strong. Have a new 2014 Durango that will now share the seat time with the Dakota. Lots of repairs over the last 16 years, with transmission and front-end rebuilds the biggest. Still hate the small gas tank - won't let me pass a gas station - but getting 18 mpg roughly. Love the new Durango, but still love my truck after all these years.

A friend of mine at work just gave his 412,000 Quad Cab, 4.7L, 2wd to his son and he bought a new 2014 Nissan Frontier .

He and I both have been waiting PATIENTLY for Dodge to offer a Hemi in the Dakota. Had either of us known this was NEVER going to happen we both would have let our trucks go 10 years ago!

My 2000 Dakota R/T CC has only 75,000 miles on it.

Because look at the specs between a ram and dakota both 4 door and you pretty much are within a few inches of the dakotas width and length so they figure no point in selling trucks with low numbers
