I'm Running 152,000 on mine. Its a 98 Dakota 3.9l. No huge major issues Dont think yet. Rear end seems to be giving a lil bit of problem but imma change out the fluid that is as old as the car. [:'(]

Err, ok well when I looked last week I was at 66k, but today I'm about 300 miles short of 70k. 1500 miles since Friday. Hmm.

 

97 Dakota SLT Club Cab 4X4, 3.9 V6 - 313,000 plus miles. Next milestone 333,333 miles.

 

How's it running jlspec? Horatio do you have kids? I knew quite a few kids that loved to steal mom and dad's cars when they weren't looking LOL.

 

lol. Nope. I'm only 29. Those are all my miles, they just added up really fast with a trip to Westport and back, Portland and back, and last night's run to Spokane and back it adds up quickly, especially when you're watching the trip meter instead of the odo.

I almost ran out of gas last night though, I completely forgot to pay attention to the fuel gauge, then I looked down and I was out in the middle of desert farmlands and had about 30 miles to empty - not cool at 1am. Luckily I was only 17 miles from Ellensburg, but in the pitch black out there it's hard to know how far you are from the next town.

 

Do you have a low fuel light? My D has one that kicks on at 1/8th of a tank. My baby won't let me forget to feed her fat *** LOL.

 

Dads ram has 265k miles on it and runs great. but its a deisel :-)

 

Yeah, low fuel light and *ding*, usually at 1/8 tank. Not sure why it waited so long to come on. I had about 3 gallons left, but I was fighting a wicked headwind and I had cruise set at about 78, so I was getting about 12-13mpg.

 

Mean Green, for 313,000 mi with no real problems it runs OK. Oil pressure is slow to come up and won't win any races but starts right up, still gets 17-20 mpg and does anything I need it to. Only real repairs, other than maintenance, Was fuel pump at 120,000 mi, starter and water pump around 200,000, tranmission work around 300,000 mi, and exhaust around 300,000 (got a refund on the cat recall)
