highest miles on a DD
my 2000 has 96k on it right now.
i bought it last summer w/ 70k so the last owner used it less then me.
runs good still and rust free top to bottom. i got to paint it black tho.
red i think fades worse then any color. flat black would look different i think.

126,600 on my 2001 with a 3.9 and 5-speed manual. I replaced the fuel pump around 122,000. It was still working but the check valve in the pressure regulator went bad and made it take too long to start. Been wrecked twice, once when I hit a small deer, $3,000.00 damage to the front end and once about a month ago when someone pulled out in front of me and hit me in the front end, almost $4,000.00 damage there. But for having two wrecks my truck still starts, runs and drives great. And it has ice cold A/C.
Other than the fuel pump I have only had to do regular maintenance, 2 sets of front brakes and rotors and 2 sets of shocks. I do the plugs, cap and rotor every 20,000 miles, change the plug wires every 40,000, change the rear differential gear oil at every 12,000 and change the manual trans oil at every 48,000 miles. I always change my oil at or before 3,000 miles too. I changed my A/C compressor and receiver/dryer out around 80,000 miles but that was because the compressor was making some noises I didn't like. I think some deer guts got sucked into it somehow when I hit that doe 3 years ago.
I am real proud of my Dakota and I take very good care of it. I get a lot of compliments on it. It has been a great truck and I am glad to see others feel the same about their Dakota's too.

My 2003 QC 4X4 has 168,000 miles and is used daily. I have put maybe $1200 in needed maintenance (including tires), everything else has been by choice. The guy I bought it from had all the service records, which is one of the reasons I bought it because I believe maintenance is the key to getting the most out of any vehicle. All fluids in my truck are changed at or before recommended intervals. I am about to re-gear it and believe I will get well into the 200's, possibly push 300 ,we'll see

117k on mine now. Only problems have been suspension related, but I don't blame Dodge for that. If you saw Vermont roads, you wouldn't either.
Dads 04 f150 has 220k on it now, runs perfect, only none maintence repair was a wheel bearing.
Two co-workers both have f150s, one with 320k the other 350k, and both are original motor and trans, both run perfect and one guy even tows his sleds back and forth to Vermont all winter... Pretty impressive (both are 4.6Ls btw)
