I just got off the phone with SUPERCHIPS.... I was wondering why I only got a 10hp increase over my last dyno pull and they said the "superchips programers are made for STOCK vehicles only!!!! One with no mods what so ever!!!!" I just thought all you guys out there ight want to know that nice little tidnit of info!!!!!!![:@][:@][sm=headbang.gif]

i think it is that TB spacer killing your hp gains. hahaha.

I will look into it. I thought it was interesting though that superchips said the programmer was for totally stock vehicles!!

i thought they only claim 10-15 HP anyway. i just ordered one and thats all i was expecting. mostly i bought it to adjust for tires, read trouble codes and adjust shift points

i think that is just a liability for them as a company. a programmer will be adding more of an effect on a motor that has been upgraded than one that is stock.

they do, but dont try to do anything else because the programmer wont adjust for upgrades such as intakes or exhausts or stuff like that.

Let me tell you the story though. I put on exhaust, intake, TB spacer and did a pull and got 150 to the tires. Then I put on headers and the programer and got 160 to the tires so I really dont think its the spacer. next upgrade will be a bigger throttle body!!
