P0456 Code fix ideas?
I just sealed it with duct tape to see if those cracks were what was causing the error. Just a temporary fix until I get time to go to the parts store and get new tubes which are like $2.30 a foot.
k i did all that didnt see anything i just drive it like i stole it, seems to be working havnt had the light on since, mabie it was telling me to open her up! who knows.
First ~50 degree day in a while yesterday and my CEL came back on. It's the third time in 30k miles. I'll pull the code and figure out what it is, but I'm betting it's the 456.

My 02 has displayed the p 0456 code about every six months since I purchase the truck. After taking it to the dealer twice and having them tell me it is my gas cap, I ignore it and it eventually goes away. I know this happens to a fair number of Dakotas and it pisses me off that Dodge hasn't fessed up to this persistant problem.
