Default Vehicle Speed Sensor

I want to hook up my rally computer to the VSS system but I need to know a little more about the system. What is the output voltage? How does it pulse (0 to 12V? low to high? etc.) and where is an easy place to tie into the wiring harness? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I am putting on a road rally for the local PT Cruiser club and want to use a DC vehicle rather than my non-DC rally car to set up the event.
Thanks, Rallymike

you mean you wanna plug something that requires power right? somethin in the cab? I don't know exactly of what ur putting in, but I'm just gonna say where you can wire it. If you tie it with the cigarette lighter wires, you'll be able to power it up wenever the battery or engine is on.
