I currently(but maybe not for long) own a 1999 dakota r/t. The drive train is stock. It has about 107,000 miles on it. I rebuilt thr transmission about 20,000 miles ago. Anyway, the other day coming home from work I felt a nasty vibration coming from the rear axles. i took the brake drums off and found that i needed new axle bearings. However that's not the problem. I took the pumpkin cover off only to find a few steel clutch plates broken(from the anti-slip) sitting on the bottom of the housing. The abs gear that is sandwitched between the ring gear and the spool has rounded off teeth. My question is does anyone know for 100% certainty what or who makes this rear end. Is it a dana or a chrysler, and where can i find parts?
thanks,
matt

It's a Chrysler 9.25" axle.
You could get parts at the dealer, but I generally do that as a last resort.
www.ringpinion.com is where I'd check first.
