Nice looking truck!
When you've got the extra coin sitting around you should upgrade to a CAI from that HAI. It'll help a bit with power and detonation.
It's on the list of things I've got to do to mine. CAI, decent header-back exhaust, etc.

I need to get a heat sheild for my intake, does anyone know where i may be able to get that?

just build one! you might want to run that ziptie away from the a/c lines sitting right there. if you choose to use zipties with you intake, you should be mounting them closer to the filter.

You should wrap it in header wrap as well to keep it from absorbing so much engine heat. My 5.0's got similar pipes, but the filter is inside the fender.

the point of the ziptie is because the tubing was falling forward, so I had to pull it back somehow.

so how do I make my own heat shield? And if i happen to run a tube from the filter to the fender...would that help?
