I have a 1997 Dakota 2wd 5.2L v8 and i was wondering what you guys think i should get first im mainly looking to make this truck fast and at least trying to make it more gas effiecent so i was wondering what things should i get first Electronic super charger, ive heard of these super chip thing not sure what they are though, and just please give me some suggestions thanks.

 

i would start with CAI (cold air intake), exhaust, throttle body, underdrive pulleys. also the superchips power programmer i heard isnt that great on gas saving...but im thinkin of gettin it anyway lol

 

Yea sorry i already have intake and exhaust meant to say that but what under drive pullys?

notice where ur intake goes into. that's ur throttle body

 

ok got ya but how much is one ussally?

 

its ontop of your intake manifold.... has a an airvalve(s).. its sorta like a carbeurator... except the engine has fuel injectors and has a throttle position sensor on it... the air intake hose connects right to the top of it...
