Default New to forum..have a question

I have a 2000 Dodge Quad Cab. We are thinking of purchasing a travel trailer. We will be putting a brake control on the truck. We have the wires that came with the truck, but what is the best brake controller to get for this truck? I have looked at alot of them and don't have a clue as to what to get. I hope you can help.

If you want one that will last get a Tekonsha. They make alot of really nice ones, I can't remember what their top of the line model is called at the moment but I have installed probably 100 of the Tekonshas and never had a problem.

I've got a Tekonsha in my Dak, took it out of my Ram. The other rigs I drive at the races have Tekonshas too.

I want to say Prodigy? I dunno. It's really simple, two dials and an energizing lever. You don't need the super fancy all digital coffeemaker version, just a basic one will work for most situations.
