Default Dual exhaust for the 4.7L?

I looked at several manufactuers for a dual exhaust for my 2000 Dakota quad cab 4.7L but to no avail. There was several dual kits, but they split from one pipe. I would like to know if that would actually be a better set-up than two straight pipes.

I ebayed it, and i got teh flowmaster 40 series and the piping included for about 200 bucks plus 50 for shipping. it's a wide muffler so it splits teh pipe from the manifold.

splits the pipe from the manifold? im not sure what you mean but i am assuming the your muffler is 1:2 (one in, two out). sherbert, as far as your question, the kits splitting from one pipe will be providing the flow that your 4.7 requires, even at high rpm. which manufacturers are you looking at?

I'm looking at a couple exhaust systems myself, trying to find a reputable vendor. Where did you get yours from? I'm looking to get some headers as well, hopefully from the same vendor and just do it all in one shot.
