Default Underhood Light

I just noticed today that my underhood light does not work. How do I replace the bulb, I tried but could not figure it out. Knowing how it goes it'll turn out to be simple and I'll feel like an idiot. My truck is a 2000 Dakota. Help appreciated, thanks!

No the bulb isn't a problem yet, it's getting the cover off that's a problem

I;ll try it. On tuesday I got tail light covers painted to match my truck and then installed them, look great. Then I replaced my interior lights with red ones for a better atmosphere... I'm a 17 yr. old guy...c'maaan! and today I bought Silverstar Ultras to replace the factory bulbs. I am going to switch them tomorrow and then check the underhood light. I'll have pics tomorrow night maybe
