hey guys. i wanna thank all of you out there that said to go with the flowmaster 40 with a 3.9l i just got mine done and i gotta say i love it. i got the single in dual out muffler with the 2 ss 45digree roll over tips. i love it. nice and clean looking. couldnt ask for ne thing better. (well a v8 maybe but gotta make the best out of what i got) so thanks to all you. and ne one looking at doing exhaust with a 3.9l i suggest going with the 40 series from flowmaster. u wont be dissapointed.

does it sound good?.... any increase in power with the dual out since it can breath out better?

 

I really like it when I had the 40 installed on my 03 SXT 3.9L so when I got a 04 SLT 4.7L is was not even a question of what I wanted to hear when it came to exhaust......nice and mellow as you cruise and then when you punch it a nice strong loud sound of power

 

cool, so what's next? 1.7's? v8 TB?

 

throttle response is better now with it and the sound is great. im not to sure what i want to do next. probly CAI and some bigger tires. ne ideas?
