No this kit wont be hard to get ahold of. Its been molded off of the Dodge Stampede kit that was released on later model dakotas before they were discontinued. I actually helped develop these.

I was actually referring to the front bumper cover being released at a later date. Until then, you could choose from the street scene, stillen, shelby, xenon, sniper, brown design, east coast customs, wings west, and a couple other bumper covers.

As far as the drop, im not sure about the red one, but the most popular drop everyone puts on the dakota is the Hotchkis 2/3 drop, 2" up front (1" on R/T models), and 3" in the rear (2" on R/T models). This is also a performance handling kit, not just a drop.

If you need any more info, or youd like to actually purchase the kit, email John Mercedes. His e mail is john.southeastrt@verizon.net Just tell him Wayne Hebb sent you.

With the 2/3 hotchkis kit is there a specific kit for an R/T or does it just do 1/2 snice the R/T is lowerd stock?

Also i think that this kit you posted would looks BADASS with the sniper bumper cover. As for getting one as SOON as i have the money to do this i will. And ill mention you.

No the hotchkis kit drops normal dakotas 2/3 and R/T's 1/2 because like you said, the R/T is already lower.

i am not a big fan of body kits, but i have to admit it looks pretty sharp on the shortbed picture. the only thing is if the kit is as expensive as you suggested in your original post, why would it be made from fiberglass? in my personal opinion, fiberglass should never be a compnent of bodywork in an area where it has any chance what-so-ever of being ran into/bent/bumped. if the kit is going to be morre expensive than similar kits, it better be made from polyurethane, not fiberglass.
