trying to buy brake shoes for my truck and auto parts store says they need to know if it has the 11" or 9" shoes? is there a way to tell without pulling the hubs and measuring the shoes?[8D]

 

I THINK dont take my word on this that 4x4 is 11 and 2x4 is 9 i think it was like that with my 4.7 but i am not 100% sure

 

You should be able to take it to a local dodge dealer and go the parts department and with the vin # they should be able to print off everything about your vechile. They should be able to tell you if the 4x4 did come with the 11's. Just don't let them do anything to your truck because they will charge you, but you can ask them.

thanks tntitans21399, i called them and they would only say they would sell me a set of shoes, but could not otherwise look up parts for people . to make this matter seem worse, this is where i bought the truck.[:@]

 

buy them both at your local auto parts store and take the ones back that dont fit
