Default please help!

I recently replaced the heater core in a 2001 Dakota since then I am still not getting heat it will blow warm if you have it on vent however when it is on defrost or recirc it blows cold there was one piece left over i cannot find where it goes this is getting frustrating thanks for your help Glenn

Sounds like the blend door isnt put in correctly. Sorry, but the dash has to come apart again.

thanks for the reply ! blend door hmmmmmmmmmmm makes sense wish I could find an exploded Veiw of the assembl somewhere

well turnd out that on the side of the heater a/c box there are 3 spots you can place the electic actuator motors for the internal doors and only 2 acctuators and i put it in the wrong spot. totally dissasembled again to find out where the mystery piece goes. it must be for something else thanks for your help .Glenn
