Default Tire size w/ stock rims and 3" body lift

I've got a 2004 Dakota 2wd SXT. I think the stock rims are 16x8 (don't hold it to me). I plan on getting a 3" body lift and some 31" BFG all-terrains w/ the stock rims. I don't want it to look ridiculous...just like a 4wd dakota or maybe a bit higher. What is the right metric size for 31" tires on my stock 16x8s?

stock on the 04 SXT/SLT is 16X8.0 Cast Aluminum Wheels the tires are P245/70R16 SLT and P265/70R16 SXT stock, with a 3" lift it will start to look 4x4 but I kind of think even in the 4x2 Dakota's look good lifted or slammed (something you can't do with a 4x4) to the ground.

The stock tires on my SXT are 255/65/R16. But what would be the equivelant of 31s? Anyone have any pics of there 2nd gen with these mods?
