i know i can get a crate motor with 402 cui with the 4 inch stroke for @ 6000.00 but how much does it cost to get this done with my original block, i would have to take it somewhere as i don't have the tools for this kind of thing any ideas? i have a book explaing everything but it's difficult to understand for me anyway, they have an upgrade chart on what to do in different stages so this will be in the future i want to start saving now if i need to

Well figure it'll be a couple of grand for parts and labor to get the crank, rods, pistons, and the rebuild done.
