Default any one tried sea foam

So when I was trying to get my truck to pass the e-test I tried some sea foam, and man does that stuff ever work good. even though I still never passed[:@] but I noticed I big difference in throttle response and it idled better. I just let it suck it in through a vaccum line at idle and then let it sit for about an hour. and then started it back up. and I smoked out the whole neighbourhood. my neighbour came out and though I blew my truck up cause of all the smoke.

heres some pics of it.

I had heard about Sea Foam and so after reading your post went to their site and started reading about it sounds like a very good investment anyway you look at it, think I will try some but should it be used in a low mile truck or when should it be used ? I was thinking of doing the gas treatment and the oil treatment ideas.

how many miles is one yours? mine has 205,000kms on it and it made a big difference. it basically cleans all the carbon buildup in your motor. so if you do a lot of city driving then it would be worth it. and you'll know by how much smoke comes out if it was worth it or not. cause the more smoke, the more carbon that was in your engine. just suck it slowly in the brake booster vaccum hose. they say put half down the vaccum and half in the gas. but since I already had a fuel injector cleaner mixed in, I just sucked the whole thing in.

Also, the "cleaner" gas you use (for instance, Shell advertizes that it has detergents and such in its gas), the less carbon build-up you will have.
If you use this as directed and you don't get a big smoke storm (like jonnymagnum) it doesn't mean that stuff is worthless. It means that whatever gas you use (and if you add some fuel system cleaner) is not leaving much carbon build-up, and probably a good idea to keep using the same gas.
