bump! i am also interested in any findings people who have done this swap may have. furthermore, what install problems, if any, were encountered? i have heard on numerous times that you will run into throttle cable/linkage problems. any input from someone who has done this swap would be great!

you will have to switch the tb cable. its very easey once you get in and look at it. u will probaly also have to open up the intake holes on the manifold some. i haven't done a true mpg test yet but it def opened up some power. would highly recomend it if you run on a manual trans. the whole processe didn't take long at all. its a pretty simple swap.

Now if you put a V-8 throttle body on the V-6, would that hurt the motor. I would think that if you are putting that much more air into the motor you would need to possibaly do something with fuel wouldnt you???

the computer will "learn" the new air/fuel ratio and compensate for it. usually takes place within 200-400 miles.

the hardest part was enlarging the intake manifold holes. that took some time and many different types of grinding stones, sanding flaps and little metal grinders. i had the best luck w/ the metal grinders. also used a shop vac with the hose in one intake hole while you work on the other. use the exhaust side off of the vacume so it'll blow everything out instead of sucking it into "through" the engine. it was pretty easey to eye it up. you could use a v8 gasket to help yourself measure the holes as you work. i didn't notice much loss on the bottom end but the gain up top was pretty strong.
