at lower rpms it is a buzzing noise but when you get in to the higher rpm's it gets higher pitched like a whistle, could dirty, or low transmission fluid cause this?

will it make the noise when it's in gear and out of gear. try driving it and when you hear the noise, take it out of gear and see if it stops.

No it only makes the noise if it is in gear and you are pressing the gas, it doesnt matter how hard you are pressing the gas it always does it, and it doesnt stop when it warms up.

try doing a tranny flush on it. thats where they take all the fluid out and put all new fluid back in. it's around $100 to do it but it should solve your problem. and maybe get them to take a look at your tranny while they have the pan off.[:@]

I have the same problem, only when it is cold out.. It makes an airplane whistling noise? If that makes sense... Only when it is in gear, and you are pressing the gas.. if it starts to whistle and you let go of the gas it will stop whistling? its got to be the most annoying thing...I have automatic.. Do you got stick?

well if you got it stuck in water up to your doors then you could have got water somewhere in your drivetrain and then it wouldnt be properly lubricated and could mess something up. have your front axel and rear end checked out *just a thought*
