Anyone ever have error code P0551 Power Steering Fluid Pressure Switch? Just curious as to what is involved with diagnosing/fixing this problem.

 

I think there may be post about that farther back if you look

 

I did a search but nothing of any use came up.

 

The power steering fluid pressure switch is only on the 4.7L engines. It's basically used as an input to the PCM to increase idle speed if it senses your cranking the wheel (so that theres sufficent engine speed).
