This is my plan...

255/50or55/17s in the FRONT

275/50or55/17s in the REAR

The only tires i found that i can put all around is Fulda Quantum Elites but they are 40 aspect to small for the 17s make my rpms hirer and look to small on my truck. And then i found some Falken s/tz01 that can go all around that are 50 aspect.. but are rated h instead of v so they wont be 'as' good for racing.

has anyone used Falken Tires and how good are they, the tire tred pattern doesnt look as high performance as the Fulda Tires... Im useing the fuldas right now and i hook up np.. i dont want to loose that.. but i need bigger tires, these 40aspect are killing me, i need 50-55 aspect.. and i dont want to up my rims to 20s for performance reasons...

any thoughts?

255/50zr17 up front, 275/55zr17 out back, about $660 for the set.

Well your truck wont even hit 130 so I wouldnt be worried about looking for V-rated tires. H is fine. Speed ratings dont mean squat in regards to grip. Look at the wear rating and traction rating. Should be traction rating of A and the lower the wear rating the stickier the tire usually is. I've had h-rated tires grip better than some z-rated (over 149) ones.

Would that give my truck to much lean "stagerd stance" Right now i have the 45aspect in the front and 40 in the rear to even out the truck. Not much of a diffrence i can tell... but 50s in front 55s in rear should work fine? If so im either going to tell the ntb people i want those yokohoma's or the falken's i like the yokohoma's better...

R/ts govs are set at just around 100. I've hit it with one. Ironically my V6's gov is higher.

Its 115 stock. You can make it higher with a programmer around 130+, ive hit 130, and still had about 1/2 of 4th gear left. If ran it out i bet they top out at about 150 with od on. Get new gears and a shift kit, and i bet we can boost that number up a bit.

The diameter difference is 1.8", so the back will sit .9" higher than the front for some of that 70's street rake.

It shouldn't be that bad though I wouldn't think.

i agree, if you are going for the lowered sport truck look, a little slope will bring a lot of character to your truck.

Hmm, thanks for the info. Looks like im going to ntb after work and getting some new tires, i messed up on my first ones, and had them orderd in, some 275/40/17 and they are way to small, so i have an extra set of rear 275/40/17s if anyone knows anyone that needs some, ill check the brand when i get off work i forgot what they are.
