What is the best sub and amp system i can put in im 2001 dodge dakota quad cab without breaking the bank??

well if you want to save money install the system yourself and build your own box. Pioneer makes good sound equipment i got my 760 watt amp for 160 bucks and my subs for 40 bucks a piece. pioneer has always been my personall preference they are very reliable there are other good brands for cheaper prices just stay away from things like lightning audio or roadmaster

look around on ebay. just make sure you get your wattage correct. a friend of mine is really into subs and amps and he found a couple of 3000 watt subs for the same price as dodgedakota98luver paid for his 760 watt. you just want to make sure that you are matching the wattage to the sub. the last thing you want to do is shove 1500/3000 watts through a sub that maxes out at 750 watts. it sounds great for about three seconds, then you can use your imagination on what happens next.
