using my 33"s
well, went offroading again over this past holiday weekend and once again ran into some damage in the dirt. luckily i was close to home. while going over a (short in distance, massive in height) dirt embankment, i managed to apply enough pressure to the steering that i blew the rack apart. and when i say blew the rack apart, i literally mean blew the metal casing of the rack off of the hydraulic assembly underneath. i had a friend pull me out, then i limped home as quickly as i could, as not to burn out the power steering pump. long story short, i have a new rack and pinion on its way (off of ebay) and some funny pictures to boot! the ironic part is that today it is raining. this completely put a damper on me riding my motorcycle to work today, so i was forced to take my girlfriend's father's mustang cobra. i hate having to settle.

That sucks. It's one more weak link in the 2wd/99+ 4wd's though, shouldn't have gone away from the old saginaw box. Oh well.
