well I just put the truck away for the winter today, and now she's sitting in the corner of the shop all nice and clean all covered up. I thought I would post some pics of her just before she went away.

why would you put a 4wd truck away for the winter? that would be the first thing that i'd use in the winter.

I put it away for the winter cause I cant afford to pay $600/month for insurance. so I figure I will just drive it in the summer until some of my tickets come off.

MY GOD 600 BUCKS A MONTH?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i pay 136 a month and i complain about that GEEZE what did you do use it as a get away car after you robbed a bank?

 

first off, are you going to be riding a bicycle in the snow? secondly, why dont you switch insurance companies. i have had easily 13-15 speeding tickets, wreckless driving, speed contest and evading and i dont pay anywhere near that amount of money. not even for my 2006, 1000cc superbike.

 

I'm driving my old 88 2wd dakota 3.9. it does the job. and insurance on that is $150. and I've priced around and thats about as cheap as I can get right now. they say cause it's a newer truck and I have to put collision on it, thats why it's soo much. next year it will come down a bit cause I'll have 4 tickets come off by then. im classified as a "high risk driver"

I know it's stupid to only drive it in the summer, but if I knew insurance was gonna be soo high then I wouldnt have bought it. I would have bought an older one. but oh well. I like my truck, even if its only for the summer
