Default Reindexed Keys

i just had a question about putting the leveling kit on the torsion bars by using the reindexing keys... i have a 01 with 33's and a 3 inch body lift.... the wheels fit but i was afraid they would rub when off roading... so i torqued the torsion bars for that extra 2 inches... but after reading some posts i heard about the reindexing keys...i was just wondering what exactly did they do and if i put them on my truck could i untorque my torsion bars and still have the 2 inches of lift with the stock ride...
here are some pics

I put them on mine. Basically what they do is give you the 2 in of lift that cranking them bars would give you but give you the same ride quality as stock. I think it is worth it. The only thing you have to do to really make it ride nice again is get new shocks two inches longer than stock since they will be maxed out now. Thats what I have to do yet. Here is a pic of mine with the reindexed keys and the 2in blocks in the rear. Yours of course will be higher since you have the 3" BL

Exactly. As far as the Ranchos thats what I plan on getting. I've heard lots of good things about them.

Do the Reindexed Keys place any strain on any parts when applied to the truck?

Thanks.

It basically does the same thing as cranking the bars and making them really stiff and I haven't heard of anyone really having any problems doing that so with less tension on the bars I would imagine it would be even less of a chance. You just can't crank them anymore or it will start to put too much strain on other suspension parts.
