Installing power windows help!
Christmas is right around the corner, and I was looking at switching my truck from manual windows and locks to power.
I found this kit:

What all would be involed in this? I know the basics about doing work on cars, but I'm not going to claim to be an expert. How much would be involved with removing the door panels, getting the motors mounted, running all the wires, etc? How hard would it be?
Also, Where could I mount the switches? And how? Would i have to cut holes in my door panels. or just drill holes for the wires and glue it, or what? Is there any place i can pick up door panels for my dakota that have the power windows and locks switches already there, so all i'd have to do is wire them?
Help!
Thanks!

Well. As far as installation, you can either do a "shock and awe" to hurry up and get them in there, or take your time to ensure a nice fit & finish. The kit appears to come with everything you need, and the actual install should be relatively easy if you have any mechanical/electrical background at all. Removing the door panels, and any other OEM equpitment, will be a breeze if you download the service manual and follow their directions. In the end, this should be a simple job and if you run into problems, we are here to help.
