iirc the 3.9 and 5.2/5.9 should use the same parts, but don't quote me on that.

the one for the 5.9 will definately fit, search for that one, what i did was gave them my year (2001), make (dodge), model (dakota) and engine size (5.9).. even though i have a 3.9... bought it from performance products.com, came in the mail a week later, installed it on a cold morning, took me about an hour, most of the instructions help, the only things i didnt use were the cruise control relocation bracket and the holding bracket for the intake tube since it wouldnt go on right for me, and when i did get it on, it looked like crap, so all i used was the heat shield and its mounting brackets, the air filter and tube (duh), the throttle body gasket and the new mounting hardware for the throttle body, looks nice and i had to trim the plastic nipple on the intake tube for the hose thats connected to the intake tube and the right side (your left facing engine) valve cover
