Well I'm glad I came on here thanks alot for bringing this to my attention..I'll ask him about it and see if he still has the manuals for it. He bought it new so if he doesn't know, that's VERY odd.

to answer the questions - yes its 2wd. I bought 3 80lb sand bags this afternoon, hasn't snowed yet so I haven't been able to test the traction.

If anything ask dodge what it has.

Ask for a build sheet. You will pretty much only need the VIN#

Thanks Twiz, I gave em a shout and here's what I got.

Based on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) you provided, this
particular vehicle is not a R/T model vehicle. According to the factory
build sheet, while the vehicle was equipped from the factory with a 5.9L
V-8 MPI engine, it is infact only an SLT model vehicle.
So apparently I've been drivin around in a SLT with R/T decals. Oh well..I still really like the car. I'm gonna have to ask him about that.. the for sale sign says R/T also. I know when he got it he replaced the exhaust and a few other things, so I don't know if he was able to get ahold of an R/T exhaust and put it on there, or put it on for just looks. Thanks alot all of you.

No problem. It got me to thinking of purchase price.

Funny enough, comparing an SLT and R/T loaded with the same options, the SLT was like 700 bucks more. I thought it would be the other way around. I guess a chrome strip on the bumper goes along way

a 2wd truck with lowpro tires will almost get stuck on a flat road in snow. i put six 75lbs sand bags in the back of mine just cause of all the ice storms we get in the kc area. 3 or 4 will do if ice isn't a factor though.
but then with that much weight in the back i can pass the 4x4's like there stuck...

I would pay to see you do that; especially with low profile tires.
