Hey guys, does anyone know the size of the stock deck that comes in 2nd gen dakotas? (looks like pretty much any other Chrysler/Dodge CD deck, relatively thick..) I've been looking at full size decks (3.5 inch) and was wondering if that would fit.. they range from 3-4 inches. I know that you can install a normal deck with mounting hardware, but I'd rather not. Plus I think these look SHARP.

 

i think its 3 inches or 1.5din. A mounting kit is a breeze to install.

 

You would be correct sir. The stock HU size is 1.5din.
