Default garage door opener??

I'm trying to see if I can install a homelink type garage door opener in my 2001 dodge dakota. Has anyone done this? Where can I get what I need?

Default RE: garage door opener??

It can be done. I took out my no frills overhead console and installed one of the Homelink/mini-trip computer versions. There's a guy on EBay the sells the whole kit for a couple hundred dollars. Or you can buy one from one the other people selling them on EBay and wire it up yourself.

I bought one one from someone selling just the overhead console and wired it up myself. For your year truck you'll need one from a '00 or newer. The '99's and older have a different wiring pattern.
