yup, on my 88 dakota I just welded in onto the pipe and then just put a turndown on it. and it doesnt sound too bad.

on my 99 I just took it to a guy that does exhaust work on the side, and he bent all new pipes for it.

What motor do you have? I would still go with the 1 in, 1 out either way.

Exactly the same application I have. Just get the 1 in, 1 out flowmaster 40 series.

i have a 3.9L v6 and im running a single in dual out flowmaster 40 series. i love it. wouldnt trade it for anything. went to my local shop and he did it for $320 including the stainless steel tips for on it. in my opinion go for the flowmaster.
