Default Tires and rims on a 2000 R/T

Hey all,

I've got a 2000 R/T with some seriously worn out tires. The stock tires are those really odd 255/55/17s. I'm wondering if anyone here has replaced them with different sized tires like 235/60/17s. Supposedly, those are a close match for height so the speedo won't be thrown off.

I woudnt go with 235.. way to small on a sporty truck. You want wide tires, 255, 275, 305, ect look nice.

I went to 255/45/17 front and 275/40/17 rear, and my speedo is off by about 5 miles. So stick with 55 aspect that will be perfect.

If i was you i would either go with some 255/55/17s all around or get some 275/55/17 all around.. 275 hook up alot better if you race people.

I also have a set of 275/40/17s for sell if your looking for new tires, i was trying to sell them for about 150 for both + shipping, they are brand new. I have pics somone where let me find them
