Default Best Sparkplugs/Wires i can get?

Im saving for MSD kit right now, but before i get that, i need to replace my plugs/wires, they are pretty bad.

I was wondering what the best ones i can get at like a local car shop, o'reilly, napa, autozone, ect...

my dad said a cross fire plug, due to the amount of heat my engine produces.

I just wanted some more options. Im looking for the best ones i can get before i get the MSD kit.

Bosch plugs normally pretty good i had them on my ford. I found some at o'reilly, just wondering if there is a better brand i can go with.. i also want to change the color of my wires, the simple old grey just doesnt cut it, i want red or somthing.. also should i go with a bigger wires or keep them the same, the ones i have on there right now are stock.

I put in some Bosch platinums i believe. They were about $50 for a V8. I think the best from Bosch are those iridium ones, but I think those are about 100 bucks. Good thing about those plugs tho..is that you don't have to adjust the gap.

btw.. http://replacement.autopartswarehous...et&dp=true

expensive but hey..not stock

i was looking at the bosch platinums +4, they seem to be pretty good, and i wish local shops had msd wires.. still need to find some wires, i think im going to go with 8.5mm wires, instead of 8 or 8.2. I just need to go down and see what they have for sell... there websites suck. lol.

there's a bunch of other brands and stuff. Cheapest you can get it 50 bucks apparently. I looked at autozone...they got nothing. Like usual, actually. They never have more than just accessories there and main important parts. Maybe Pepboys?

Jegs and Summit both have good selections of spark plug wires.

As far as spark plugs, I've heard lots of people say to stay away from the multiple electrode plugs.

I just got a 75dollor gift card to o'reilly thats why im looking through them,

I was maybe thinking of getting new fog light covers, and just get my plugs and wires online from summit. They have the 8.5 red MSDs for like 90bucks, and some nice plugs.. hmm decisions, decisions.

Plus to money really isnt the issue, the msd kit is like over 200 i think. I just want somthng that is good and will hold me over till i get the msd kit.

So.. the bosch plantium plugs are not that good due to muti electrode

also autolite make the Iridium plugs.. btw.

forget autolite or any other type of platinum plug. mopar motors dont like them. i went from champion to the autolites and lost about 50 miles to a tank of gas. went back to the factory champions and mileage went back up. most people run the ngk plug. very nice smooth idle. when you get yor msd system these plugs will be a great match. i currently own a 1987 buick grand national putting 400 horses to the ground and i use the ngk. anything else is less than ordinary
