Does anyone know how much of a lift I would need to clear 35x12.50x15

You wouldn't be able to clear it with your existing 7 inch lift? If not, you might need to look into wheels with a different offset.

You would think 7 would be enough, but there is no way to really tell unless you mount them up and try. A tire place should let you mount one Front one up to see if it rubs, the place I got my tires let me.

Do the solid axle conversion up front. You'll break stuff if you actually take it off road.

With the 7 inch and 13.50 wide I had to cut the inner fender/flares cause it rubbed when the wheel was cranked all the way. If I went with 35x12.50 would that make a differance? Thanks for all the responses, I'm new to the sight and glad to see so many Dakotas with aftermarkets.

yeah its probably your width giving you problems as dakota man said most tire shops will let you check out the tires on your truck. you'd be surprised how tall of a tire you can get if you go a little narrower. i'm betting you can go even taller than 35 if you stick with the 12.50 wide. just watch breaking stuff offroading with a dakota that high up.

Hey Horatio how much would a solid axel conversion cost?
