horatio102 so it would not be a good idea for me to change to not drilled but slotted rotors?......I want good stopping power and grip so I was thinking of a good brand of ceramic breaks to go with the new rotors but seems so many people keep talking about the drilled rotors but it does make sence about the weaknesses.
What is the best brand of slotted rotors to go with for the 04 Dakota? and should I do the rear too?

I've heard good things about power slot rotors, especially if you get them cryo treated. I've had good luck with just an oem replacement Brembo set of rotors. They're much higher quality than factory stuff and they're not super expensive either.
