when you take all the exhaust off after the muffler, and put on an elbow pointing down right after the muffler.
I did that on my 88 dak and it made it alot louder in the cab

I want to get some polished headers, when i get them i think im going to replace my exhuast with some flow 40s and another dump, and see where that puts me.. right now, mine puts out alot of diffrent deep tones, the small cam lift helped, and the dump and high rpms gives me that nascar crackle and pop... lol.

and once you put on some flowmaster 40's I bet it will be like night and day.mine up to 3000 rmp will viberate the cab and anything above that WATCH OUT!
and early in the morning idleing in between the houses it will rattle the windows in the house.mines loud but a lil on the slow side. it did 16.7 in the 1.4 mile last summer. thats not too bad for a 4x4 with 31" tires
