I had to make the same decision for my 2003 Quad Cab 4.7 earlier this week.
I actually had the Flowmaster put on (not by choice...long story)for a day. Andwithout a doubt it wasTOOLOUD inside my truck to handle. So Iended up putting on the Magnaflow, and couldn't be happier. Let's just say that you can definitely hear me comingdown the road now. Andmy wife and I don't have to yelljust so we canhear each other...

There is a big difference between the flowmaster 40 and 50 series. I went with the 50 series as it still sounds very similar to the 40 when throttling it, but when just cruising it has a much lower rumble. I haven't heard the magnaflow so I can't compare though.

magnaflow rates theirs in the size of muffler. so the smaller the muffler, the louder. I went with the 18" magnaflow 1 in 2 out muffler, magnaflow highflow cat, 2.5" custom bent stanless pipes, and 2 3.5" magnaflow tips. and you can hear me comming from a distance.

I dont get alot of interior noise. but I wish I would have more though, exept when you open up the back window, then it sounds soo sweet inside. and my setup was around $600 installed. so you cant beat that.
