Default Put my new muffler on my truck.. video

Got my muffler put on my truck the other day. The video qualitys not that great, but you get a basic idea. Its not that loud, im going to give it a few hundred miles and see if i want to take my cats off or not. But im in love with the tone. I was thinking about going flowmaster, but then my buddy who specializes in exhaust and mufflers told me about the Flo Pro series. Much cheaper, ane he said they sound the same if not better then the flowmasters. So i got one, and i was a little bit iffy.. but im convinced.

So, heres the video. Let me konw what you think.

2002 Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6, the muffler is a Flo Pro V5 single in/out 2.5" offset/center.

no offense, but you shoulda went with the flowmaster. it's a deeper rumble then the flow pro's. how does yours sound higher in the rpm's?

I like it. For the money i saved on getting this instead of the flowmaster, i think it was worth it. Theres a little spot around 2800-3000 rpms where it settles down a bit, but everywhere else it sounds great.

Are you sure that's not just the video quality making it sound like that? The bit of wierdness I heard sounded more like innacuracy in the recording.

I had a very well respected shop professionally weld it.. theres no leak in the exhaust. And i cant hear it in real life, so its just the quality of the video. It sounds better in real life.. as always.
