besides cranking the torsion bars, how else can you lift the front

You can get some tortion keys that will rasie you 2"

the torsion keys are just the same as cranking the T-bars.

I bought a pair of them and shipped them back cause its not any different then cranking them your self.



I think theres some lift kits out there, but I dont know any off hand.

Rancho makes a 3" suspension lift thats like 1500$

yeah rancho was the only one I could find. Too much for a susp lift kit for me. Funny how for the Ram it's about 800 bucks w/ shocks but for the Dakota w/o shocks it's about 1300.

thats mostly because theres more out there for the ram. and theres hardly anything out there for the dakota, so they can charge what ever they want.

and because we have torsion bars and I think the rams have springs. so their easier to lift.

yea thats pretty much the reason, the dakotas arent really an off road beast... with the rancho kit.. make sure you got 16 inch rims at least... i gotta go buy 5 new rims and tires cause i got the crappy 15 inch rims [:@]

Torsion bars, that's a concept I never really understood. Even w/ new shocks my truck in pretty uncomfortable, you can feel every bump on the road. What are the advantages to having this set up vice springs?

thats more like a show lift. it's not good for off road at all[:'(]
