Default Headers

Alright I know that this is probaly asked alot but headers I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust system even more. I'm just wondering what to go with gibson, hooker or other. I also do not want a the ceramic or chrome to flake off after a bit of ware and tear. Any suggestions. They would be used on a 3.9L quad cab.

unless someone else started making them.. you only have 1 choice... jba is it.

http://www.jbaheaders.com/headerdeta...?PartNum=1938S there are a couple of choices... you should start a search from scratch on their site...

What else have you done? For the money you are planning on spending on the headers, there are other upgrades, such as a Superchips programmer or v8 throttle body, that will provide more bang for the buck. Also, doing a lot of motor upgrades on a 3.9 is like throwing your money away; especially with a quad cab being so heavy.

Just my $.02

I wouldnt say it's tossing money away... if the goal is to improve performance yet keep mileage reasonable then yeah there is alot you can do to a 3.9 to give it more pep and not drain your wallet.

I have add superchips micro tuner, air raid cold air intake, magna flow 40 series. All I'm looking for is to give my truck bigger ***** while trying to be conservative considering I'm still in school.

Throttle body spacer = waste of money. Throttle body = great high end gains.

I recommend getting a set of 1.7 Roller rockers. To date, this is the best mod i've done to my 3.9 and the install is simple.
