I would do a throttlebody and roller rocker upgrade, and if you can do the work your self and look around for deals you might still squeeze some headers in there for 800.

Go with some performance rocker arms, gives you more lift for the valves. pretty easy to install too, just take out the old ones and bolt up the new ones. Get some new push rods too while your at it. Then if you dont already have an exaust or air intake get that, if you do then headers. An easy thing you can do is set your timing 4 degrees ahead for some more low end power. You can do that for free.

Interesting! In the past I've always heard that the 4.7 didn't benefit from headers as there wasn't that much more flow over the stock manifold. And roller rockers on that engine?

stock manifolds are made for the mass production lines... they wont flow as well as a set of headers. one thing that differs (at least on the magnum engines anyway) is that the exhaust manifolds have a common exhaust route. headers have separate exhaust tubes for each cylinder which makes it more efficent.

Agreed in general. but with the Dak. there is supposedly not enough room to improve the flow. And "supposedly" it is only at higher RPM's and will rob some lowend torque. I'd really like to know from sure from someone who has done it.
