Default whining sound during downshift into 2nd

Hello all!
Ive had my 02' 3.9 5spd 2wd dakota for about six months, and since ive owned it it's been making a strange whining when I downshift into second gear. It doesn't seem to make the sound going up through the gears, or during any other downshifts. Any ideas?

Could be something as simple as the torque converter or clutch plate spinning up to engage. Does it do it going into 1st?
