lowering options
I have a 2000 single cab 2wd and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the best option would be for dropping it about 2 in the front and 3-4 in the rear without killing my wallet. everywhere I call it costs about $600 for a kit and $400 for install. I am not good with suspension so I wouldn't want to attempt to do it myself. My budget is around $700, but I don't want something that will make the ride terrible.

RE: lowering options
If you can spair the extra cash get the Hotchkis TVS. It will give you the drop you're looking for plus the handling and performance is great. It's always gonna ride rough. That's always gonna hapen when you shorten the ride height unless you do airbags. And save money and do the install yourself. It's not extremely difficult and it can be done with a jack and some jackstands. DJM makes a decent kit as well. I think it's around $600
