Ok back to my question. Im getting a oil puddle underneeth the front of my truck. Probably 4 drips per hour. Im not sure where its comming from but i do know that its not engine oil. I noticed that my front differential and axle is coverd in oil. (not engine oil, more like gear oil). The truck also makes a howl from what sounds like the front of the truck when i let off the gas. Any ideas on what could be happening here?

I think I found your problem in the first place. It has to do with your signature "172K and runnin' strong" Change this and you'll probably have better luck. I find everytime i say that something is good it goes bad, so i just don't say anything at all... just my $0.02!!

i know exactly what you mean, especially since my truck is still fairly new to me, i'm paranoid, and have to have everything working perfectly.
