Default lowering kits

Lowering kits I have been looking at lowering my truck and have a kit picked out from styling concepts but I was wondering if is possible to leave the rear end of the truck stock and lower the front of the truck 1.5-2". and if there is will there be any serious mods needed in the drive train.
Thanks

Why just the front? You can lower the rear like 2 inch's and ride hight would be level. That all i said when i first got mine and now its got 6 in the front and 5 in the rear

ever seen the old muscle cars? the agressive stanceis a timeless look and looks sweet on these trucks, as for your question kieson, no D-train mods would be needed for that small of a drop. go for it and post pics

I do have two questions for you, Nicka, first, with those driving lights, how did you get them in? i have the same ones (but not the blue)
second, for your drop, do you have any rubbing problems in the front? I'm planning to go 5/6 and I would like to know before i get under the truck

To answer your question nicka I have to ask you a question. Have you ever seen copperhead on trucks the stance of the truck was just breath taking let alone the truck of itself. That is why I want to just lower the truck in the front to give it a nice aggressive stance like said above the look is timeless. And lastly I want to do it to make my truck stand out and be one of a kind.

with all respect, i think a engine swap may make your truck a bit more aggressive...not nocking your truck but its kinda like the honda civic craze that happened a few years ago...all looks

The reason for not engine swapping first is I'm a little low on cash because I'm still in school and an egine swap can be really costly and that will be a later project but for now a lowering kit is only about $400-500. And trust me when I'm done this truck it will be all go and show. And it will not become a trailer queen. Any other questions?

I had a friend put them in i'm not 100% sure how he got them in, i know it took him a few hours and a couple of trips to the hardware store. I had some issuse with it scrubbing and bouncing really bad when i first did it but it is amazing what you can do with about 5 hrs. a hammer, cutting torch, sawzal, and a drill and new mounting plates for the fuse boxes, and the computer stuff on the passenger side.
