ok i know this is old, but i finally got it fixed, if you want to fix it just pull the panel off of the dash underneath the steering wheel and there will be little white(or at least it is on mine) box with a plastic nut on it, just go out for a drive, and instead of putting it in park before shutting it off,just shut it off and put the e-brake on, then turn the nut until the red indicator is in the correct position, then move the shifter around, you should be able to feel it fall into place, you may need to move it a few times to get it right, and when you leave it in drive you cannot take the key out until you put it in park and get the ignition to lock
