I have the 3" body and 2" blocks in the back and jacked up the torsion bars and cut the front bumper corner a little I’m running 33" muds and I still get rubbing once in a while from a the plastic in the wheel well, I have a little piece that grabbed so on sharp turns on a hill I hear it. Nothing big. The price I paid to do all that comes lower then buying that lift. I never wanted a body lift but since there nothing really out there. It gets the job done

I bought the reindexed keys, and I sold them a week later. it is the same as cranking your T-bars. and I would never go over 2" (8 turns) with them.

and 3" blocks are a bit big. I woulda went with a set of shackles. you can do a 2" shackle/torsion lift for $50.

but your truck looks pretty good sittin that high.

I e-mailed the company and asked a few questions. They claim that its very possible to get 3" of lift with this kit. They said that you WILL need an alignment job on the front after cranking the torsion bars though. I also checked on the exact measurements on the tires (Cooper SST 305/70/16 pictured) and they are 33.07x12. The tires are also suprisingly inexpensive too!! The 3" SUSPENSION lift and tires should only run about $850 which is cheaper than any other suspension lift alone. Sounds like this is the way I'm gonna go when I get my tax money back. I'll let you guys know how it goes!

Oh one other very important point is that the dealer strongly recommended new longer shocks with this lift kit.

I just went through this exact thing your talking about, and you might be able to crank them to get 3", but your going to be putting an extreme amount of pressure on your suspension which will cause parts to wear very quickly and will also cause the ride quality to suffer from it being so stiff.

Also running longer shocks will not work for you. I bought 3" longer shocks and had to return them. When you doing this sort of "lift" your not actually giving yourself anymore travel that would require the longer shocks. All your doing is adjusting where in the travel your truck will sit.

I would crank your torsion bar anchors and put in better shocks of the stock length. The "dealer" of this kit is going to tell you that you could save the world from cancer if you install it, but that doesn't make it true.
